You heard the word cancer.

Now what?

The first days after a diagnosis can feel like a blur of appointments, questions, decisions, and information you never expected to need.

You do not have to figure everything out today.

There is a strange moment after a cancer diagnosis.

The world keeps moving, but yours has stopped.

You may be scared. Numb. Overwhelmed. Angry. Or strangely calm and wondering if you are in denial.

And then the questions start.

What happens next?
What should I ask the doctor?
Should I be doing something right now?
How am I supposed to remember all of this?

I remember that feeling.

And I remember how hard it was to know what I didn’t know.

That is why I created this guide.

You just need help finding the next step.

Just Diagnosed:
The Questions You Didn’t Know to Ask is a gentle, practical guide
for the first days after a cancer diagnosis.

It will not tell you what treatment to choose or try to replace your medical team.

It will help you slow the swirl, organize your thoughts, and walk into your next appointment
with questions you may not have known to ask yet.

A pamphlet titled "Hope Lives Now" with a photo of a doctor holding a patient's hand, providing guidance for the first days after a cancer diagnosis, with the website hopefulsnow.co at the bottom.

What’s inside

Inside the free guide, you’ll find:

  • Questions to take to your first appointments

  • Practical things you can do right now

  • Tips for organizing medical information and paperwork

  • Questions about your diagnosis, treatment, genetic testing, support, and next steps

  • Guidance for the person going to appointments with you

  • Two printable appointment-note pages to bring along

  • A reminder of what you do not have to figure out yet

  • Gentle, faith-filled encouragement for the days when fear gets loud

The guide is intentionally simple.

Because when your mind is already carrying too much, you do not need another 40-page manual.

You need something you can actually use.

A woman sitting on the floor, smiling, with a book in her hands, in a cozy living room. There is a bowl of popcorn and a soda can on the carpet nearby. She is wearing a light gray sweater and blue jeans, with a large beige pillow behind her and a textured blanket on the couch.

I created this from a place I know personally.

After my own breast cancer diagnosis, I learned how quickly the first days can become a blur.

There were appointments to make, words I had never heard before, people trying to help, and questions I did not even know enough to ask.

Years later, I still remember what it felt like to be standing at the beginning of a road I never wanted to travel.

This guide is one of the resources I wish I had been handed then.

Not because it could have made cancer easy.

But because it might have made the next step feel a little less overwhelming.

You do not have to be brave every minute.

You do not have to stay positive.

You do not have to understand every medical term.

You do not have to know how this story ends.

Hope does not require you to pretend you are not scared.

Sometimes hope is simply taking the next step while trusting
that God will meet you there.

Start with the next step.

Download the free guide and take it with you to your next appointment.

You can print the question pages, write directly on the appointment sheets, or simply keep it nearby for the moments when you cannot remember what you meant to ask.
