Cancer changes more than our bodies.

It can bring fear, anger, grief, loneliness, questions about faith, and emotions we never expected.
And sometimes those feelings linger long after treatment ends.

An Evening of Hope is a gathering for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer
—whether you have faced a diagnosis yourself, walked beside someone you love, cared for someone through treatment,
or simply want to know how to offer hope when someone you care about is hurting.

Join author Kim VanderPoel for an evening of honest stories, connection, encouragement,
and hope as we celebrate the release of her new book,
Faces of Cancer: The Emotions No One Prepares You For, and the God Who Meets You There.

We'll talk about the parts of cancer that don't always make it onto the treatment plan
—and the hope that can meet us right in the middle of them.

We hope you'll join us for this special evening. And please feel free to bring a friend.

About Faces of Cancer

Faces of Cancer makes room for the emotional and spiritual parts of cancer that no treatment plan can fully prepare us for—the fear, anger, grief, loneliness, vulnerability, uncertainty, and questions about God.

Written from Kim's own experience with cancer, it isn't a book about having all the answers or forcing positivity. It's about discovering that even in the hardest places, hope can still be present—and God can meet us there.

Copies of Faces of Cancer will be available for purchase and signing following the event.
