Honest stories. Real hope.
For the rooms that need both.
Speaking & Events
I didn't set out to become a speaker. I set out to survive.
Life has a way of being harder than you planned — and mine was no exception. A childhood that shaped me in ways I’m still understanding. A marriage that nearly didn’t make it. Cancer. Survivorship. And then the quieter, longer journey of learning how to live with what hard things leave behind.
Somewhere in the middle of all of it — childhood wounds, marriage struggles, health challenges, faith that had been tested and rebuilt — I realized the stories I most needed to say out loud were the ones other people most needed to hear.
I speak from lived experience about hope, hardship, resilience, faith, and what it means to keep going when life doesn't go according to plan.
"Your sharing touched a spot in my heart."

Speaking Topics
Kim speaks in both diagnosis-centered spaces and broader women’s, faith, and resilience-centered events — bringing honesty, hope, and practical encouragement to each.
HOPE IN THE HARD SEASONS
For women’s events, church communities, retreats, and conferences. What does it actually look like to choose hope when life gets hard and doesn’t quickly get better? This talk is about hope that is deeper than optimism — hope that steadies you in the middle, not just at the end.
FAITH THAT HOLDS
For faith communities, Bible studies, women’s retreats, and church events. What happens when your faith runs into real suffering? This message explores what it means to have a faith that bends under pressure without breaking — and how God meets us in the places where tidy answers fall apart.
THE HARD, HOLY MIDDLE
For women’s conferences, retreats, caregiving communities, and encouragement events. Most of life is not lived in the before or after. It is lived in the middle — the uncertain, inconvenient, stretching place where people are still showing up and still trying to hold on. This talk speaks to the sacred work of living faithfully there.
THE BIG C
For cancer communities, women's events, churches, and survivor groups.Everyone who walks into a cancer diagnosis knows what the big C stands for. This talk flips it. Because the bigger C — the one that actually gets you through — is courage. Not the absence of fear, but the decision to move anyway.
THE LONG ROAD OF SURVIVORSHIP
For cancer organizations, healthcare teams, and survivor communities.Treatment ends. Survivorship doesn’t. This talk gives language to the part of the cancer journey few people prepare you for — the body that keeps score, the fear that lingers, and the identity questions that remain long after the last appointment.
EMBRACE: A Framework for Moving Forward
For women’s retreats, workshops, conferences, and personal growth events. Before you can move forward, you have to know who you are and where you’re going. EMBRACE offers a practical framework for rebuilding with purpose, courage, and intention after hard things.
"You have a gift for taking a tough subject
and making it relatable."

I care deeply about the rooms I walk into. That’s why I don’t say yes to everything.
I want to know who your people are, what they’re carrying, and what you hope they leave with — because that’s where the most meaningful talks begin.
"Your words inspired me and empowered me to
want to walk out my life in courage."
